Interseroh signs German Sustainability Code again

Interseroh issued its first Declaration of Conformity with the German Sustainability Code in 2013 and since then has regularly updated its declaration – most recently for the 2018 reporting year. Issuing the Declaration is a way for Interseroh to enhance the transparency and comparability of its sustainability performance: Interseroh Declaration of Conformity with the Sustainability Code

The Sustainability Code  was developed in 2010 by the German Council for Sustainable Development and by stakeholders from government, the financial markets, business and civil society organisations. It lays out the minimum requirements for reporting non-financial corporate performance.  Interseroh reports on the 20 required criteria, including categories such as resource management, equal opportunities or employee rights, as well as supplementary quantifiable performance indicators. 

“By publishing reports on a regular basis, we offer transparency, comparability as regards the development of our company over time and thus provide clarity for our customers, partners and employees," explains Markus Müller-Drexel, Managing Director of INTERSEROH Dienstleistungs GmbH. “Signing the Sustainability Code serves as an important orientation for our stakeholders and is at the same time continuous proof of our sustainable performance. And we hope it is also a sign and an incentive to the market."
